Binocular Visual Odometry - Introduction

What is this Binocular Visual Odometry and what it got to do with the j4dy website.

Well, Finally. You might find it wierd why such funny sound name got to do here on the j4dy website. It's just my long-going MPhil thesis topic that I haven't been working much on, since 2005.

The idea was to create a "can go home" robot that knows its position by using parallax, through 2 cameras, like a human being. It's been 2+ years since I have admitted into this MPhil and yet I have been working much, so I decide to put everything I have here as a record for myself, others, and so that I can "work my way as long as I'm online" anywhere on earth.

So there it is, a place for me to keep record of my Thesis progress.
